O.R.M. Chopper Photo Gallery Update 3 -12-2008
“The Hot Rod Surf O.R.M. race chopper is one of my personal bikes and is a dual use race and street machine. Last year I decided to design and build my own turbo charging system which is still being modified and tuned. I have raced the O.R.M. chopper numerous times at the El Mirage Dry Lakes race and at the Bonneville Salt Flats Speed Week in 2007.” -MWM
The O.R.M. chopper was built by Mark Whitney Mehran at the Hot Rod Surf headquarters in San Diego from a stock salvaged 1998 big twin Evolution Harley Davidson Softail Spinger and has seen many adventurous road trips and modifications over the years. The O.R.M. chopper has earn numerous awards including SCTA El Mirage Official Timing Plaques, The Bonneville World Land Speed Record for the 1350cc A-PBG Class, a 2007 SCTA El Mirage Performance Award, and was on display at the San Diego Mission Valley Boarders Books to celebrate the HOT ROD SURF 100% Genuine Book release.
