The BAM Chopper built by MWM at Hot Rod Surf headquarters was crashed by a crazed kook! HOT ROD SURF BAM Chopper before hit & run incident. JF who recently acquired the BAM Chopper from Brian Moore was run down in Pacific Beach on the night of June 27, 2008.   JF was hit from behind by a compact green Honda sedan and then dragged for about 40 yards.  Luckily JF fell on top of the bike and was able to get up and see the driver.  There were numerous witnesses and an ongoing investigation is under way. HOT ROD SURF has always been about the fun of the kustom experience and is for everyone who is into vintage hot rods, pin-ups, pinstriping, and choppers.  As a policy we do not discriminate against any certain club or organization.  WE WILL report on issues important to vintage hot rods and motorcycles, and exercise our rights with a policy of full disclosure, especially on local issues which we have first hand knowledge.  HOT ROD SURF strongly believes that the more hot rods, choppers, and clubs the more vibrate and fun the scene becomes.
