HOT ROD SURF Build Up! Part VI 4-09-08   The next part of our hot rod build is to fit all of the various functional parts together making sure the used vintage parts are in working order. During this stage of the build there are hundreds of small projects which need to be addressed and completed. Some of these projects include customizing steering joints, building a seat frame, making a dash, running electrical wiring, testing and mounting gauges, timing the engine and rebuilding the ignition components, mounting a transmission shifter, and fitting radiator hoses. A vintage Ford Model A truck gate is added to the rear of our roadster with a custom shortened bed for extra classic hot rod styling.
